2NE1′s choreograph of their performance of “The Best”. They also did a Japanese version of this song but i prefer the Korean version. My fav will always be Minzy, she’s with the Adidas slacks.

Another fav clip of mine is from their live performance at SBS Popular Music Show.

Performance and production wise is really top notch for an asian group. Big Ups.

Pearl of The Orient.

Ola. Been a while since i update my blog. Been busy with current workload. Alhamdullilah. Spent the last weekend with mesdames in Penang. Been awhile that we went places. The place is clean, food is cheap and glorious. Had a lil skim session along the way. Will visit Penang again fo’sure.

Old Traford Burger at Lorong Love. I could eat it every night along with Vanilla Coke.

Our one night stay at Red Inn Heritage. Cosy place. Towkay like Tiger Beer and can utter nonsence after drinking it.

Hizqiel Matin. Hasrin

14.07.2010 notes another history made in my life book. I’ve turn to be a father to a boy. He’s healthy, weighing at 2.7kg but he was 3 weeks early at that point of time. He was born naturally at 21.27 hours at KK Hospital. The experience of watching a life born in front of your eyes is more than just amazing. Your life will instantly change. I don’t even know why some parents could throw their newborn away. I couldn’t even let go of him.

Three days later, baby Hizqiel has his first check up for jaundice at Bukit Batok polyclinic. Sadly his blood test level for jaundice is a hight level of 280+- and had to be taken back to KK hospital. My heart breaks and everything was a heavy blow. I became angry and mad, but I need to be strong, for my wife, my family and not to forget, my son.
We had to send him for UV lighting treatment for 3 days at KK hospital. Saying goodbye to him is very hard. Tears filled my eyes but I had to hide it. Mesdames cries when she saw anything that resembles infant, it’s hard to console someone when yourself is in a low morale state.

Hizqiel recover tremendously while in the treatment. His level drops to a low of 100+- and he’s able to be discharge after 3 days of treatment. His follow-up check up made clear that he’s recovered. Jaundice level is at low of 90+-.

Now baby Hizqiel, nearly 1 month old, is feeding fine and I’m sure he’s enjoying his infant term.

My Bands of Brothers.

I will miss my Band of Brothers the most. 2 years of hell in Dieppe Barrack, with blood, sweat and tears we evolve from Boys to Men. 11th Mono 1st Guards Battalion we carry with pride and honour. Every ICT i waited excitedly for coming back to become boys again. To drop all the work stress behind and work every muscle in the body for more Guards field exercise. I’ll be joining a new force and wont be with the soldiers i called Brothers. Will be missing my Colt M203. Will miss the quote “The Mud on Our Face is Home” and the constant teasing and wrestling.

My final salutations to my Bands of Brothers.

Peace! You will be missed.

Quickomelette

So I watch Jamie Olivers Food Evolution, and he made a simple omelette. It got my appetite going, and I feel the urge to make one myself. Ran to the kitchen and could only find 1 egg in the fridge….. Sad moment there. Haha.

Well, what the hell, I could still make something. Cut some tiny spicy chilly, 1 large chilly, chopped up onions & basil, slice a few cherry tomato. Whipped up the egg just alil bit so I can still get the white on the omelette. Put everything in the bowl. Save some tomatoes for garnishing later. Heat up the pan with extra virgin olive oil and a small cut of butter. When the pan is heated, pour in the egg mix. Cook in low heat if possible. When the bottom is cooked, flip it.  Put some slice of Cheddar cheese in and fold the omelette.  A few second and your omelette is done. Enjoy!
